Leslie Jo Buhecker

Born April 7, 1948        Died May 5, 2000   Buried  Sterling Cemetery, Sanpete County, Utah

I have not been able to find an obituary for Leslie Jo, but her husband, Jerry, passed away in 2007, and there was and obituarty for him with some information for us.  

Leslie Jo married Jerry C. Jacobsen on Aug. 2, 1976, in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Leslie Jo, her husband Jerry, and son, Rowdy, moved to Sterling, Utah, in 1979 and purchased acreage in 6-Mile Canyon that had never known a plow.  They wanted a quiet place where they could build, raise vegetables, hunt and fish.  A place where Jerry, a victim of muscular dystrophy, could continue to make and sell his wood carvings - their principal source of income.  They started building their home themselves two years later and in 1984 their son (Fredrick) Fritz was born.
