Kent William Capener (KC) was born May 1, 1948, to William Wayne Capener and LaRaie Nicholes. He passed away in the early morning hours of December 30, 2007, from complications following surgery.

KC graduated from Highland High School in 1966 and attended the University of Utah. He was owner of Capener Consulting Company. He was a member of the LDS faith.

KC is survived by his father and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother in 1993.

The family would like to offer thanks to the staff at St. Marks Hospital for the care of KC the last five weeks.

Memorial services will be held Fri. January 4, 2008, at 12 noon at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 S. Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah. Friends and family may call from 11-11:45 a.m. prior to the service. " 'til we meet again, son." Dad.
