i am very sad to hear of Coralie's passing. I met Coralie at our lunches. I just saw here in Dec and nothing seemed out of place. I am going to miss seeing Coralie as she had become a regular.  Rest in peace Dear Corlaie, getting to know you was a real blessing.

Coralie was a neighbor growing up. Attended the same schools K through 12. I knew all of her siblings and her parents. Good folk. Chances are good that Clark Alvey and I pulled a prank or two on her at some point, hopefully one that led to laughter. . .  I was at her house quite a bit in high school, practicing folk music with her big brother. She was always sweet.  Don't know how some people can be so nice all the time.

I can't believe that Coralie has passed away. I have sat next to her for numerous class luncheons the past year and have visited her in her beautiful home just a few weeks ago. I was not aware that she had any serious health issues, and we had a wonderful visit for more than an hour. She loved quilting and she showed me numerous quilts and photos of completed quilts. She even offered to help me with an unfinished quilt started, but never completed, by my mother 47 years ago. I knew her at Highland and she had retained the same pleasant dimeanor as an adult. Although I can't understand why she has passed away, I will tell you that she was spiritually prepared for it. She was a wonderful example of realizing priorities and conquering them. I admire her and I am certain that she is having a happy reunion with her husband. I will miss her.

I was also surprised and saddened to hear of the passing of Coralie.  Her loving kindness has been her hallmark for many, many years, and an honest and sincere caring for others will always be a sweet memory.
