Bill Vigos

WILLIAM CHRIS "BUZ" VIGOS

William Chris "Buz" Vigos, age 42, died October 7, 1990, in a motor vehicle accident.

 

Born March 17, 1948 in Hailey, Idaho, the son of William F. and Beryl Vigos, Salt Lake City, Utah. Married Debbie Cox, November 24, 1972. Divorced.Survived by parents; two daughters, Jessica and Roxanne; and sister, Kristine Vigos Hegmann, all of Salt Lake City.

 

He served in Viet Nam and saw action in forward advance patrols ahead of regular support forces. He was honorably discharged from the Army on January 2, 1970. He was active in Veterans Affairs. Music was his life. He was a talented musician, and performed with "Easy Going".

 

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 11th, 2 pm, Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.

Jim Saley

Bill and I grew up in the same neighborhood and he was a good guy. Too young to have passed away. I remember what a great artist he was, he could draw. He was especially good with cars - could have become the Chip Foose of Sugarhouse. JIm Saley
