I am a physical therapist "In Home Physical Therapy Rehabilitation Specialist."
I closed my Outpatient Orthopedic Practice of 30 years and a outpatient Balance and Dizziness Clinic of 5 years when I realized that I needed to be going into people's home for treatment. People are falling for various reason's one of which is dizziness or vertigo, neuropathy, and imbalance.

When you need me I will be there. I come to you, yes your home to treat. It is much more convenient, comfortable, and practical for me and for you to be instructed on a home exercise program in your home than an office setting.

I have been enjoying life with my family, and friends. I keep quite active with work, supporting charitable organizations, and playing sports when I can. I enjoy tennis, racquetball, and pickleball.

School Story

1966 was a big year for me for several reasons. Of course we all graduated then, but this was Highland's first and last year of taking State in Baseball. We can all appreciate that even more now after 50 years.
After high school I went on to play baseball for the University of Utah, and fulfilled a mission for the LDS Church in Austria. After baseball I played semi pro fast pitch softball with Vaugh Alvey (Kay Taylors husband), and then slow pitch softball for Bill Bennion (Scott Bennion's brother). I still play tennis at the Sports Mall in Murray for anybody that is interested. Always looking to stay active physically and mentally. Got to keep those joints lubricated. Nothing like moving on rusty tires.

A favorite story I can tell you safely now is the story of the Denial River. Being in sports is a cool thing especially when you are playing with a lot of cool guys. I grew up thinking that if you hung around cool people you would be cool, so I did. I did have a skill which I practiced night and day at so I could hang around cool people. I tried out for baseball my sophomore year in high school and Coach Pino cut me. I played summer baseball with the same guys I was cut from by another Coach- my Summer Coach. He went up to Pino and asked why I didn't make the school team. Pino said that I ignored him and didn't act cool like the others. Well, my summer league coach told him that I was not a smarty pants, I just didn't hear very well. The next year during try-outs for my Junior year in baseball Pino walked carefully behind me at short-stop and had Mr. Slugger Doug All-American Howard hit me some ground balls to see if I could catch. Pino took me aside afterward and asked me if I knew why he was behind me. I told him I didn't have a clue. I was concentrating on fielding Doug's blazing fast grounders to me. He responded he was talking to me the whole time to see if I would react. He thought I was a smart allic when in fact I simply didn't hear him. He apologized and I became 1st stringer at shortstop for Highland High.
Most of you didn't know I had a hearing problem, and I wasn't one to admit it either. I suppose my pride or The Denial River got alittle in the way and cost me dearly at times. I wasn't going to put those hugh honkers on my ears to have them fall out as I was scooping up grounders. Now that would not be cool. So I kept it a secret.
I do apologize now some 50 years later if I have offended anybody and especially if I didn't respond when they asked me. I only wanted to be accepted and so hangin around the coolest guys was what I did.
Thank you Highlander Rams for being a special part of my life. As for the team I will remember all of you, as I have the rest of my life.
