I worked with Russ pumping gas at Smiths Independent on 11th E. 1700 S. and he made work seem fun when we had a few minutes to just be kids together.  He did leave us way to soon!

Russ Nielsen invented the word duh duh before it was invented Russ was a high-energy High polar type of guy I never saw him low he used to pick me up in his 1956 green Ford every morning and take me to school and we played football together allyears he was a very good friend He was always so supportive and loyal to all those around him he did spend his days in the fast lane and he had a heart condition that was operated on when he was a young boy and so he knew his time was somewhat Limited and lived like that. I enjoyed him very very much in high school and after.
