In reading about Suzanne, it makes me recognize all of the challenges each of us has met in our lives. I don't know her story but I do know that she was a good woman and s sweet classmate. What fun that she became a welder!!  Who would have thought?  Blessings to her and her family.

Suzanne was such a good friend to me, We had so much fun together at Irving and at Highland. She was sweet, funny and sincere. Wish I had kept in better touch with her.

Suzanne and I were pretty good buds.  During our Jr year, Suzanne's date cancelled at the last minute for her Pep Club party at Log Haven and she asked if I could take her. She had already paid and it was a waste not to go. Great food, great music and a lot of dancing. Possibly there was a comment about driving a little fast up the canyon in my Volvo.  I think it qualified for a top 10 of Lifetime Dates. She will be missed.

Suzanne and I were lined up next to each other height wise in Pep Club.  It's a good way to get to know your pep buddies.  I do not remember that Pep Club Party at all... It must have been awesome as I loved Log Haven!  But I probably didn't  have a date! 🙄

I'm with you, Tomma.  I don't remember the party either.

I sit corrected....I think it was some affiliated group party.... More than 20 people (I don't think I knew anybody) a Pep Club party would have been huge.  We did have a great time, I actually had my first alcoholic drink Christmas Eve my Senior year at a company party.  My boss bet me a dollar I couldn't chug a double shot of Conyac and immediately inhale. I swear the top of my head went through the ceiling. Drinking isn't for everybody.

I enjoyed Suzanne in Jr. High and at Highland. I remember in pep club Suzanne was extremely talented at choreographing our dance steps in our marches. I don't know her story after high school, but was saddened to read things were hard for her.

So sad to learn that Suzanne died so young. She was always so much fun to be with and had great ideas for Pep Club activities. She is missed, even though I hadn't seen her since high school.
