Kay Taylor Alvey

Happy Birthday to our lovely Kay, today.  Kay shared my son's birthday so it's easy to remember, but then she was an unforgettable person, as we all know.  I was out of the country when I got word Kay had passed away, and was devastated....I think mostly because I couldn't personally tell her goodbye, but have been dealing with that.  Her and Vaughn moved into our first neighborhood after we were all newlyweds, and Kay and I became mother's about the same time.  Some wonderful, tender memories.  My husband Rick and Vaughn became good friends, and Kay and I would sit and cheer at their games together with our new babes.  She always made me laugh, she had a gift.  Miss you, Kay.  Love you.....
