Steven Lewis Nielsen 1948 ~ 2010 Steven Lewis Nielsen passed away January 26, 2010 in Las Vegas, NV. Born to Norman and Janice Nielsen May 6, 1948 in Salt Lake City, UT. Graduated from Highland High and University of Utah. Member of Kappa Sigma. Owner of Nielsen Food Brokerage, Las Vegas, NV. Survived by wife Cheryl Lawson Nielsen, sons Tyler (Nicole) and Casey, granddaughter Alexsia, mother Janice, brother Skip, sisters Deborah (Steven) Tuttle, Christine O'Donnell and nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father. A gathering for family and friends will be held Tuesday, Feb. 2, from 6-8 p.m. at Neil O'Donnell & Sons Mortuary, 372 E 100 S. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Red Cross Haitian Relief Fund. "Keep a tee time and happy hour at 5. Happy Trails"

I attended Steve's funeral in SLC... Ed Ryberg was there from Colorado. Steve had been in Las Vegas doing a catering business and the recession hit and things didn't g so well. Steve was always the funny guy, great golfer and had a line for everything. He will be missed.

Steve was my 1st real boyfriend. I conveinced his neighbor Jacque, also deceased, to let me come over to her house so I could meet Steve away from Hillside Jr. Steve had had polio that affected one of his arms and he was a shortie so I figure he thought we could go steady. Kissing in Jr. High was quite a high with Stevie. I will not forget him or his bro Chris who has also died.
