 Jonathan and i were very close just before he died, about 8 months ago (2014). we talked weekly on the phone. he received his dental degree from the university of the pacific in the late 1970's. he was a very inventive, reclusive, brilliant person who had a pet owl when he was at highland. he said his best friend when he was at highland in our class died earlier in the year: Douglas Hanson. i have no idea where he lived. i am sure that Doug died, as jonathan tried to get ahold of him after many years of them being estranged from their original friendship. Doug was a pilot (maybe in Vietnam).
