To this day I am haunted because I did nothing to stop the bullying of Shirley at school. Shirley was a very sweet soul. May she rest in peace. And shame on all that read this and was involved in the abuse.

i remember shirley and her twin virlee. I new shirley from clayton Jr. I would see her in the hallways between classes. i always went out of my way to say hello to her. at first she was shy and a soft hi would come out. I never saw her with friends always by herself. there were so many times, i just wanted to go up to her and just talk to her. but she was so timid and such a loner, i didnt know what to do. the best i could do was always say hello to her. Jr high was rough. but at least i had some friends. I lost track of Shirley at Highand. I would see her in the halls now and then. and i would always say hi.

Appearances always seem to be a factor on how we are judged and who is doing the judging.
